Choose the tier that fits your training volume — every plan includes full equipment access and the recovery suite.

At most gyms, the premium equipment is technically “available” but practically inaccessible — cordoned behind a personal training package or buried in a members-only annex with unpublished hours. Every Riverside Sinclair membership tier gives you full, unrestricted access to the entire 12,000-square-foot floor: every cable column, every sled, the belt squat stations, the GHDs, the sauna, and the contrast showers. The tiers differ in how much structured support you receive — solo access, coached group sessions, or one-to-one personal training — not in which machines you can touch. This is how it should work, and it's how it works here.
Three Paths In, All Equipment Included
Every membership starts with a free orientation week — no contract required until you've trained here yourself.
Open Access — $89/mo
Full floor access seven days a week, all equipment included, recovery suite access every visit, monthly calibration newsletter, and one free equipment orientation session with a Riverside Sinclair coach when you join. Best for self-directed athletes who know what they want and prefer to build their own programming.
Group Training — $149/mo
Everything in Open Access, plus unlimited spots in all scheduled group classes — strength circuits, conditioning blocks, mobility and recovery flows. Classes are capped at ten members to maintain coaching quality and equipment access during sessions. Coach-led warm-ups and debriefs are included in every class, not optional extras.
Personal Training — from $299/mo
Everything in Group Training, plus four dedicated one-to-one coaching sessions per month with a Riverside Sinclair certified trainer. Sessions are 60 minutes, scheduled at your convenience, and include a written programming plan updated monthly. Elite coaching packages with eight sessions per month are available on request.
Membership Questions, Answered Directly
Is there a joining fee or contract?
No joining fee and no long-term contract on any tier. Membership is month-to-month, billed on the same date each month. If you decide Riverside Sinclair isn't the right fit after your free orientation week, you simply don't activate a paid plan. No paperwork, no penalty.
Can I freeze my membership if I travel?
Yes. All memberships can be frozen for up to 60 consecutive days per calendar year at no charge. Freezes must be requested at least three business days before the next billing date. Partial-month credits are not issued, but the freeze holds your rate and your locker assignment.
Are personal trainers employees or independent contractors?
All Riverside Sinclair coaches are W-2 employees, not independent contractors. They go through an internal 40-hour onboarding program that covers our equipment protocols, programming philosophy, and member communication standards. You're not sharing your session with someone who also works at four other gyms.
Can I bring a guest?
Group Training and Personal Training members may bring one guest per calendar month at no charge. Open Access members may purchase day passes for guests at $25 per visit. Guests must complete a brief digital waiver before entering the floor — this takes about two minutes at the front desk terminal.
What happens if equipment I rely on is out of service?
We maintain a live equipment status board on our member app updated in real time by floor staff. If a primary station is offline for more than 48 hours, affected members receive a one-day credit automatically — no request needed. We carry replacement parts on-site for our twelve highest-traffic machines.
“I was skeptical about a gym that charged more than my old place. Then I did the orientation week. By day three I had used six machines I'd never had access to before, ran a sled for the first time in my life, and sat in the sauna after. The $149 Group tier costs me less per session than my old membership did, and I actually show up now.”
